YUT NORI
Yut Nori is a free Korean board game where you throw four wooden sticks and move your pieces by the result; the first to bring all four pieces home wins. It runs in your browser with no download, on PC and mobile.
The sticks are really thrown. Flick the screen upward for a hard throw or tap for a normal one, and the sticks tumble onto the straw mat. Count the sticks that land flat side up: one is do (1 step), two gae (2), three geol (3), four yut (4) and none is mo (5). If only the marked stick lands flat side up it is back-do, and a piece moves one step back. Yut, mo and captures give you another throw.
Tap a piece to see where it will land, then tap it again or tap the spot to move. Landing on your own piece stacks them so they travel together, and landing on an opponent captures it and sends it back to the start. Landing exactly on a corner or the center opens a shortcut across the board, and reaching the start corner brings the piece home. Bring all four home first to win.
Playing solo you meet twelve opponents in order, from a chick and a rabbit to a tiger, a dragon and a goblin, over STAGE 1 to 12. Later stages are three- and four-team games, clearing STAGE 12 shows the champion ending, and endless stages follow. Pick 2, 3 or 4 PLAYERS to take turns on one device. Coins from wins buy 12 stick skins such as chestnut, bamboo, lacquer, mother-of-pearl and gold, and there are 12 missions.
