JEJU KART RACING
JEJU KART RACING is a free 3D kart racing game where a cat, a bunny, a panda and a fox race 12 courses on Jeju Island and throw items at the karts ahead. It runs in your browser with no download, on PC and mobile.
I made it because I missed item races in kart games. Grab an item box and you get one of four Jeju items: a hallabong tangerine, a pony, an okdom fish or a dol hareubang stone statue. Hold Space and a target mark appears over a racer ahead of you, the leader first. Keep holding and press ← → to switch targets, then let go to fire. The racer you hit shows up face-on in a small window on the right.
The hallabong flies in an arc and bursts into orange juice. The pony charges out from the roadside in front of the target. The okdom lands ahead of the target and spits water into a puddle, and any kart that drives through it spins and slides. The dol hareubang drops from the sky in a cloud of stone dust. When you are in 1st there is no one ahead to aim at, so the item is dropped. Drop an okdom and it stays behind you to trip up whoever follows.
There are four racers, each with a kart and a skill. Nyangi is the Drift Master (drift boost fills 1.5x faster), Tori has Lightning Hops (↑↑ dash every 18 seconds instead of 30), Pani has a Tough Body (half the spin and slow time when hit) and Yeori rides the Tail Wind (6% higher top speed). Drift with Shift to charge a boost, and double-tap ↑ to dash. Double-tap during the countdown and you jump off the line at GO.
The 12 courses are Aewol Coast Road, Tangerine Stone Walls, Hyeopjae Beach, Jeju City, Green Tea Fields, Canola Fields, Sangumburi Silver Grass, Windmill Coast, Yongduam Rocks, Seongsan Ilchulbong, Hallasan Forest and Tapdong at Night. Four cups (Tangerine, Stone Wall, Oreum, Hallasan) have three courses each, and you have to finish 1st to move on. Win all four cups for the ending, then keep racing in endless mode. 2 PLAYERS splits one screen top and bottom for a head-to-head race.

Is my progress saved?
It is saved in your browser. Open it again on the same device and browser to continue. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can two people play?
Yes. Press 2 PLAYERS to split one screen top and bottom. Player 1 uses WASD, left Shift and Space; player 2 uses the arrow keys, right Shift and Enter.
How do I get to the next course?
Finish that course in 1st. If you finish 2nd or lower, you race the same course again.
