CRISPY is a free hex cracker puzzle: place hexagonal crackers on a board and link the toppings on their edges. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.

Place a hex cracker on an empty cell. Each cracker has a topping on all six edges, and touching edges connect when their toppings match. Tap the cracker you picked once more to rotate it. Link three crackers with the same topping and they go crispy! and break apart on the spot.

Every stage has a goal — stage 1, for example, is "4 strawberries within 20 moves". Join two separate clusters in one move and they all burst at once. A cracker left on the board too long goes soggy: it no longer connects to anything and only gets swept away when something breaks beside it. Run out of moves or fill the board and the stage is lost, but you retry that stage, not from the start.

Good for — anyone who likes hex or tile-matching puzzles and short stage-by-stage play; a stage takes a couple of minutes. Your best stage is saved in your browser automatically.

FAQ

Do I need to install CRISPY?

No. Open the link in your browser and it starts. No app, no sign-up.

Is CRISPY free?

Yes, completely free. No payments.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The board is laid out tall to fit a phone screen, and it plays on a PC too. Use your finger on a phone and the mouse on a PC.

How do I play?

Tap a cracker in the tray at the bottom, then tap an empty cell to place it. Tap the picked cracker again to rotate it. Touching edges connect when their toppings match, and three crackers linked by the same topping break apart. Each stage asks for a set number of the goal topping within a set number of moves.

Is my progress saved?

Your best stage and your sound settings are saved in your browser; the best stage shows on the GAME OVER screen. A new game always starts from stage 1. Nothing is sent to a server.
