Spot the Difference
Spot the Difference is a free web game where you compare two pictures that look the same and tap the differences. It starts right in your browser on PC and mobile.
Each stage shows two pictures side by side. In the right one, some things are missing, new, or changed in color, direction, size or place. Tap a difference in either picture and a green circle appears on both. Stages start with 5 differences and later ones have up to 8, and they get smaller as you go.
Each stage has 60 seconds. Tapping a spot that is not a difference takes away 5 seconds. If you get stuck, you can use the magnifier hint twice per stage. You earn 1 to 3 stars based on the time left.
The pictures are 3D scenes built like miniature rooms: a kids room, kitchen, cafe, classroom, campsite and beach, with 5 stages each for 30 stages in all. The last two stages of each scene are set at night or in the evening. Clear all 30 to unlock an endless mode.

Is Spot the Difference free? Do I need to download anything?
It is free. You can play to the end without paying, and pressing Play now starts it in the browser. There is nothing to download and no sign-up.
How many differences are there?
Early stages have 5, and later stages have 6, 7 and then 8. The dots at the top show how many you have found.
Is there a time limit? Are there hints?
Each stage has 60 seconds. Tapping a spot that is not a difference takes away 5 seconds. You get 2 magnifier hints per stage, and a hint briefly circles one difference you have not found yet.
How many stages are there?
There are 30 stages across six scenes: kids room, kitchen, cafe, classroom, campsite and beach, with 5 stages each. Clearing all 30 unlocks an endless mode.
Is it good for kids?
The first stages have five large differences, such as a missing toy or a changed color, so younger players can join in. Later stages have smaller differences and are harder.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Hold your phone upright and the pictures stack top and bottom. On PC or in landscape they sit side by side. Tap or click the differences.
Is my progress saved?
Cleared stages and stars are saved in your browser. Open it again on the same device and browser to continue.
