Color Mix Puzzle Game
Color Mix is a free browser puzzle game where you push drops of paint so they slide into each other and mix, until you match the sample color. No download, it starts right in your browser.
Push a paint drop in one direction and it slides across the empty wells until it hits the first drop in its way, and the two mix. If nothing is there it stops at the wall or the edge. Every puzzle has a sample color to make, and the dots under the sample show which paints go in and how much. The drops on the board show their paints with dots too. Make a drop with the same paint ratio as the sample within the MOVES to win.
The ratio matters. If you need one yellow to three white and you mix white into a drop that already has two yellow, you can never get there. Undo takes back one move at a time, and when the board can no longer be solved the undo button blinks. Later boards get bigger and corks block some wells, so you have to think about where each drop will stop.
When you make the sample color, a part of the picture gets painted with a brush stroke. There are 10 pictures with 10 puzzles each, 100 in all: a house on a hill, a fruit bowl, a lighthouse, sunflowers, a sunset roof, a forest lake, a snowy village, balloons, a little harbor and a starry night. After each win you pick one of three cards for a tool such as a paint tube, a cup of water, a rag, a dropper or a palette knife, and now and then a gold rimmed card shows up. Paint all 10 to open the exhibition, and fill all 24 cards in the book to change the final scene.

Frequently asked questions
What color do you get when you mix them?
Red and blue make purple, yellow and blue make green, and red and yellow make orange. White makes a color lighter and black makes it darker, and red, yellow and blue together make brown. The same paints give a different color in different amounts.
What are the rules of Color Mix?
A pushed drop slides until it touches the first drop and mixes with it, or stops at the wall or the edge if there is nothing in the way. You win the puzzle as soon as any drop on the board has the same paint ratio as the sample.
How can I tell how much paint is in a drop?
Small dots under the sample and under each drop show one dot for each unit of paint. Drops also get bigger as they hold more paint.
What happens when I run out of MOVES?
If you reach 0 MOVES without the sample color, it is GAME OVER. Press RETRY to start that puzzle again, or undo to take back a move, and you can undo as many times as you like. A cup of water card gives you more MOVES.
How do I use the cards?
Cards you win go into the bag beside the board. For a tube, tap the card and then a drop to add that paint. The rag erases a drop, the dropper takes away one unit of the paint it has most of, and the palette knife moves a drop to an empty well. Cups of water and the golden brush work as soon as you tap them. Using a card does not use up MOVES.
How many puzzles are there and how does it end?
There are 100, 10 for each of the 10 pictures. You open the next picture by painting the whole one before it, and painting all 10 ends the game with an exhibition. If you collected all 24 cards, the frames turn gold.
