VIVA TACOS
VIVA TACOS is a free web game where you make tacos to order from a taco truck. It runs in your browser with no download.
When a customer walks up, a bubble over their head shows the toppings they want as pictures. Tap the tortilla stack to put one on the griddle, and when it turns golden tap it to move it to the tray. Tap the bins and beef, lettuce and cheese fly over and land on the tortilla. When everything is on, tap the customer to hand it over. They crunch through it and pay you in stars and coins.
The truck starts in the cactus desert and rolls through an oasis village, a palm beach, a lighthouse harbor, a corn field, a red canyon, a fountain plaza, a market street, volcano foothills, jungle ruins and a city at night before reaching the taco fiesta, 12 stops in all. Each day unlocks a new ingredient or sauce such as tomato, onion, chicken, avocado or shrimp, so orders get longer, and up to three customers wait at once.
After each day you spend your coins on the map screen. More heat warms tortillas faster, and a second burner also gives you a second tray so you can build two tacos at the same time. Serve four and five star tacos in a row and the hanging pinata fills with color. When it is full, tap it and smash it open for a shower of coins and a FIESTA.

Frequently asked questions
When should I take the tortilla off the griddle?
Tap it while the white marker on the bar under the griddle is in the green zone. Before that it will not come off. If you leave it into the orange zone it is overdone and cannot earn five stars, and at the end of the bar it burns and a tap throws it away.
How are the stars decided?
If the toppings match the order exactly and the tortilla came off in the green zone, you get five stars and PERFECT. Every missing or extra topping takes stars away and lowers the price. Four stars or more adds a tip, and the more patience the customer has left, the bigger the tip.
What happens when I lose a customer?
When the patience bar under the bubble runs out, the customer leaves angry and you lose a heart. Lose all three hearts and it is GAME OVER, and RETRY starts that day again from the beginning. The coins you earned stay. Only the customer who arrived first loses patience at full speed, the ones behind lose it at half speed.
How do I burst the pinata?
A four star taco fills one step of the pinata and a five star taco fills two. After eight steps it starts to shake. Tap it, hit it seven times and it bursts in a shower of coins. For the next 12 seconds it is FIESTA: patience bars stop and tacos pay double.
What if I add the wrong topping?
Tap the trash can to clear the tray. You have to warm a new tortilla and start over. The same topping can go on one taco up to three times.
What changes when I buy the burner?
You get a second burner and a second tray, so you can warm two tortillas and build two tacos at once. Toppings go to the tray with the yellow ring, and tapping the other tray switches to it. When you tap a customer, the tray closer to that order is served.
Does the game end?
Yes. After 182 customers and day 12, the taco fiesta, you reach THE END. Progress and coins are saved in the browser at the end of every day, so you can pick up again with CONTINUE.
