MR. HORNET Wasp Game
Mr. Hornet is a 3D indie insect game where you play a hornet removal worker: spray wasps, net them and bag the whole nest. It runs free in your PC or phone browser with no download.
Calls come in from a grandma in a farmhouse, an apartment guard, a school teacher and a country pastor. Get out of the truck and the nests are waiting under the eaves, behind an AC unit, in a bell tower and underground by a hillside grave. There are six places: a farmhouse, an apartment flowerbed, a school, a hillside grave, a country church and an old abandoned school.
Aim your spray at a nest and its strength drops, and the first hit sends a burst of wasps flying out in every direction. Knock down attacking wasps with spray or swing your bug net to catch several at once. When the nest bar turns green, extend the net pole and bag the whole nest.
Some call-outs have wasps flying around but no nest in sight. Follow the wasps with your eyes and you will find hidden nests inside roofs, underground and in tree hollows. When a honeybee swarm lands on a tree, do not spray it. Stand under it and move the bees into a hive box.
Every sting wears down your bee suit, and once it is gone you start to swell. Swell all the way and the ambulance takes you away, and you redo that call-out. Spray cans and the suit run down as you use them, so spend your pay in the shop on new cans and suit repairs. Spray power, range, can size, suit, net and pole bag all upgrade step by step.
There are 20 call-outs from June to October, and the nests grow bigger and the wasps angrier as the months go by. Each caller hands you a thank-you gift like an energy drink, rice punch, watermelon or songpyeon, and eight kinds of wasps fill your dex. The last call-out is a giant hornet queen nest in the ceiling of an old school, and bagging it brings the ending and a result card with your title.
On PC, walk with WASD, run with Shift and look around with the mouse. Hold left click to spray, press F or right click to swing the net, and hold E to bag a nest, swap a can or box the honeybees. On a phone, play in landscape with the left pad and the SPRAY, NET and E buttons on the right.

FAQ
I cannot see the nest. Where is it?
That is a hidden nest call-out. Follow where the wasps fly in and you will reach a roof, the ground or a tree hollow, and the hidden nest shows up when you get close.
When can I bag a nest?
Spray the nest until the strength bar above it drops below 30% and turns green. Then hold E and the net pole extends and wraps the whole nest in a mesh sack. Let go halfway and it stops, so keep holding until it is done.
Why should I not kill the honeybees?
They are a beekeeper's bees that swarmed onto a tree, so they need to go back into a hive box alive. Spraying them cuts your pay. Stand under the cluster and hold E to box them.
What happens if I get stung a lot?
Your bee suit wears down first, and stings after that make you swell. If the swelling fills up, the ambulance takes you away and you redo the call-out from the start. A worn suit stays worn in the next call-out, so repair it in the shop.
What do I do when my spray runs out?
Press E next to the truck or the blue can box to swap in one of your cans. Cans cost 25 coins each in the shop, and you can open the shop during a call-out with the cart button at the top of the screen. If you have no cans and no coins, you get one basic can.
How is my pay decided?
Each call-out has a base pay. You get 30% more if you never get stung and 20% more if you finish within 2 minutes 30 seconds. Hurting honeybees takes money off.
How do I reach the ending?
The 20th call-out is a giant hornet queen nest in the ceiling of an old school. When the nest strength drops below half the queen comes out, and you have to take her down before you can bag the nest. Then you get a result card with wasps caught, times stung and your title to save or share.
