HAMSRUN Hamster Road Crossing Game
HAMSRUN is a 3D road crossing game where an escaped hamster hops through a kids' room, kitchen, backyard, alley and park to reach a sunflower field. It runs in your browser on phone and PC with nothing to install.
An escaped hamster lands on the floor of a kids' room. Ahead is a road full of wind-up cars and toy trucks, and behind, a cat is creeping closer. Hop one square at a time across roads and train tracks, and stuff the sunflower seeds you find into your cheeks.
Your cheeks hold 12 seeds, and the fuller they get, the puffier they look and the slower you hop. Seeds only count once you empty them into the hideout at the end of the stage. Get run over, fall in the water or get caught by the cat on the way, and the seeds in your cheeks are gone. Dawdle too long and a grey striped cat paw swipes from behind.
There are 10 stages, two each in a kids' room, a kitchen, a backyard, an alley and a park. You cross a cocoa river on floating biscuits in the kitchen, a ditch on leaves in the backyard and a pond on lily pads and ducks in the park, while real cars and a subway train rush through the alley. Spend your seeds on seven more hamsters such as Djungarian, Pearl, Pudding and Panda, and reach the sunflower field past the last hideout.

Frequently asked questions
What happens when the cheeks are full?
A sunflower seed fills one slot and the occasional golden seed fills five, up to 12 slots. The fuller the cheeks, the puffier they get and the longer each hop takes. When they are full you cannot eat more, so empty them at the hideout at the end of the stage.
What happens to my seeds when I get caught?
You lose the seeds in your cheeks, but the seeds already emptied at a hideout stay yours. If you get run over, fall in the water or get caught by the cat, you restart that stage.
Why is a cat paw chasing me?
Dawdle too long in one place and the cat creeps up from behind and grabs the hamster with its paw. In later stages the cat follows faster.
How do I cross the water?
Hop on the floating biscuits in the kitchen's cocoa river, the leaves in the backyard ditch, and the lily pads and ducks in the park pond. If your ride drifts off the screen, the hamster drifts away with it.
What are the sunflower seeds for?
You can bring home other hamsters. You start with a Golden hamster, and there are eight in all: Golden, Djungarian, Pearl, Pudding, Sapphire, Panda, Roborovski and Black. The Black hamster costs 400 seeds.
Does it end?
There are 10 stages, two each in the kids' room, kitchen, backyard, alley and park, and passing the last hideout brings you to the sunflower field ending. You can save or share a result card with your time, seeds eaten, times caught and your title.
