FARM ON MARS 팜온마즈
Farm on Mars is a free idle city-building game. A teddy-bear robot stranded on Mars reclaims the wasteland, grows crops, ships them to Earth and builds a city with the materials that come back, terraforming the planet. Runs in your browser, nothing to install.
A teddy-bear robot dropped alone on Mars. All it has is two farm domes and an ice drill. Potatoes grow inside the domes and the bear walks over to harvest them. Tap a ripe dome yourself and you harvest faster and half again as much. Once ten or more crops pile up the rocket on the pad lights up; tap it and it flies to Earth and comes back 20 seconds later loaded with materials. Spend the materials to reclaim the wasteland one plot at a time, and switch seeds to move from potatoes to barley, corn, wheat and rice, each worth up to five times more per grain.
Water is the mission. Domes drink water, and when it runs dry growth drops to a third. Drill for ice, dig a reservoir, and as you expand the reservoir a river flows out of it, through the canyon, up the edge of the map and across the top to a second reservoir on the far side. Forest grows along the banks, and a dam in the canyon fills a lake. When a dust storm rolls in the bear hides in the base and dust settles on the domes; tap to wipe them or build a wind wall. Rock bugs go after ripe crops, so tap them to flip them away, or buy a guard drone to do it for you.
With materials you build the city. Pick from six lines, housing, culture and parks, civic and research, industry and shops, transport and high-rise, and 116 different buildings go up one at a time as the city grows, from straw huts and farmhouses to banks, schools, city hall, factories, apartments and skyscrapers. Offices and factories fill the downtown on the right, apartments and parks fill the residential district below, and between them you plant a pine forest with seeds and soil sent from Earth. Roads form a grid, street lamps come on at night and rovers drive around. The more you build, the more the red ground turns green, until a finished Mars no longer looks like Mars. The farm keeps running while the tab is closed and you collect what grew when you come back. There is no end: when every lot is full, old buildings are torn down and rebuilt as newer ones.

FAQ
Do I need to install Farm on Mars?
No. Open the link in your browser and it starts. No app, no sign-up.
Is Farm on Mars free?
Yes, completely free. No payments.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Turn the phone sideways and tap the domes and the rocket with your finger. Pinch to zoom and drag to move the view. On a PC you use the mouse and the wheel.
How do I play?
Tap a ripe dome to harvest and tap the rocket to launch. Tap a construction site to speed it up, tap a dusty dome to wipe it, and tap a rock bug to chase it off. The BUILD button at the bottom right sells farm upgrades and city buildings.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, automatically in your browser. Open it again and Continue on the title screen picks up where you left off. Nothing is sent to a server.
How do I get materials?
Load crops onto the rocket and send them to Earth; it brings materials back. The cargo bay is bought with crops and grows without limit, the antenna shortens the round trip, and autopilot makes the bear launch on its own.
Why do I need water?
Domes use water as they grow, and when it runs out growth slows down a lot. The ice drill mines water and the reservoir and dam store it. Grow the reservoir to level 3 and a river runs across Mars.
Does it keep going while the tab is closed?
Yes. When you come back you collect what grew while you were away, up to 2 hours by default and 8 hours with autopilot, in which case you receive materials instead of crops.
How does it end?
It doesn't. When the 48 downtown lots and 52 residential lots are full, old buildings are redeveloped into new ones, and once all 20 farm domes are built you keep raising the yield.
