FINGER KICK
Finger Kick is a free flick soccer game: pull a table-top player back, let go, and knock the ball into the net. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.
The five discs in Korea's colours, blue with a red rim, are your team. The other team wears the colours of the country you meet that day. On your turn, grab a player, pull it back and release; it shoots off the other way like a slingshot. If your player hits the ball, you keep the turn, up to 3 flicks in a row. Miss the ball and the other team takes over.
The ball crossing the goal line is a goal, and the side that conceded kicks off from the centre. Walls run all round the pitch so the ball never goes out, and you are allowed to knock the other side's players around. The goalkeeper does not get pushed by the ball, so shots from a wide angle go in far more often than straight ones.
A match lasts 3 minutes. Matches run as a league where the opponent changes every game: a season is one match each against Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany, France, Argentina and Brazil. After WIN, LOSE or DRAW the standings appear, and finishing first makes you CHAMPIONS with a star to show for it. When a goal goes in, a commentator shouts and the crowd swells, and that crowd was recorded in the country you are playing that day, so the sound of the stadium changes with every opponent.

How do I play?
Grab one of your players, pull it back and release; it flicks the other way, harder the further you pull. If your player hits the ball you keep the turn, up to 3 flicks in a row.
Is my record saved?
Your win, draw and loss record and your league season are saved in your browser. Open it again on the same device and browser and you carry on where you left off. Nothing is sent to a server.
How does the league work?
A season is 8 matches, one against each of Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, England, Germany, France, Argentina and Brazil. Points are 3, 1 and 0, and the other countries' results count too. Finish first and you are CHAMPIONS, with a star for every title.
Can I play alone?
Yes. The other team simulates hundreds of possible flicks with its five players and picks the best one.
Where is the crowd noise from?
It was recorded in the country you are playing that day. For the Netherlands, Germany, England, Ireland, Brazil and Belgium it comes from in and around real stadiums; for Argentina and France it is a street celebration. Where a country has two recordings, the ⏭ button at the top (N key on PC) switches between them.
