ARCADE HOOPS Basketball Arcade Game
ARCADE HOOPS is a free browser basketball shooting game that puts an arcade hoop machine in 3D. No download, it starts right in your browser.
Step up to the machine and six balls roll down the ramp to you. Flick a ball up to shoot it at the hoop. A longer flick goes farther and an angled flick goes to the side. Misses bounce off the rim, the backboard and the net and roll back down to you.
Each stage lasts 40 seconds, and beating the goal score opens the next one. A basket is worth 2 points, 3 points during the last 10 seconds of BONUS TIME, and a SWISH that touches neither the rim nor the backboard adds 1 more. Make 3 in a row and you are ON FIRE, scoring double until you miss.
There are 30 stages. The hoop moves back from 2.4 m to 4.9 m as you go, and from stage 5 it slides side to side in the last 10 seconds. Later it moves side to side from the start, then up and down, then in a figure eight, and in the last stages it stops and starts. Clear stage 30 to see the ending and save or share your result card.

How does scoring work?
Each basket is 2 points, and 3 points during the last 10 seconds of BONUS TIME. A SWISH that touches neither the rim nor the backboard adds 1 point, and 3 baskets in a row puts you ON FIRE for double points until you miss.
What happens if I miss the goal score?
You get GAME OVER and play the same stage again. Stages you have cleared can be picked again from STAGE, and each one keeps your best score and stars.
How many stages are there and how does the hoop change?
30. The hoop moves back a little each stage, from 2.4 m on stage 1 to 4.9 m on stage 30. It stands still on stages 1 to 4 and slides side to side only in the last 10 seconds on stages 5 to 9. From stage 10 it moves side to side the whole time, from 16 it also moves up and down, from 23 it moves in a figure eight, and from 27 it stops and starts.
How do I get stars?
Beat the goal score for one star, reach 1.35 times the goal for two, and 1.7 times for three. You can replay a cleared stage to earn more stars.
How many balls are there?
Six. Every ball you shoot rolls back down the ramp, and you need a ball at your feet to shoot again. Throw all six at once and you wait a moment for them to come back.
Does it end?
Clear stage 30 and the CHAMPION ending plays. You can save or share a result card with your stars, accuracy, best streak and tickets, and THE END takes you back to the title. Your cleared stages and records stay.
