NIGHT MARKET SHOOTING GAME

🎮 Play now

Night Market Shooting Game is a free web game where you knock cans, bottles and ducks off the shelves of a Korean night market shooting gallery with a cork gun to win plush prizes. It runs in your browser with no download.

We built the rigged shooting gallery of a real Korean night market.
You clearly hit the can and it barely falls, and even when you finally zero in your sights the cork still misses.
At a real night market every round costs money, but this game is free, so you can retry as many times as you like.

The sight never stays still. It rises and falls as you breathe, your hand trembles, and the gun jerks a little the moment you pull the trigger. Every round the sight is also slightly crooked, so watch where the first cork lands and correct your aim. Corks are light, like real ones, and drop more the farther they fly.

Bottom-row cans have weighted bases, so a hit in the middle only wobbles them, and a can that tips over still has to fall off the shelf to count. Bottles and wooden pins only need to be knocked over, the wooden ducks move along a rail, balloons pop, and hitting a firework box blasts the targets around it. Run out of corks with targets left and it is GAME OVER, and RETRY starts the stage again right away.

There are 24 stages, and clearing an even-numbered stage for the first time wins a plush prize. Collect eleven, from a bear, a bunny and a kitty to a dino, then win the giant bear on stage 24 for the ending. Coins from knocked targets buy a long rifle, twin gun, triple burst, shotgun and ball cannon, plus extra corks, and there are 12 missions. A raccoon runs the booth and laughs when you run out of corks.

Good for — anyone who has hit a carnival can dead center and watched it not fall, and anyone who wants a physics shooting gallery without paying per round.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the can not fall when I hit it?

Like real carnival cans, the bottom row has weighted bases, so a hit in the middle only wobbles them. A can that tips over must also fall off the shelf to count. Bottles and wooden pins count once they are knocked over.

Why does the sight sway?

Hand tremor and breathing are built in. The gun also jerks a little when you pull the trigger, and each round the sight is slightly crooked. Better guns sway and spread less.

What happens when I run out of corks?

If any targets are left it is GAME OVER. Press RETRY to play the same stage again from the start, and retrying costs nothing.

How many stages are there and how does it end?

There are 24 stages. Each even-numbered stage gives a plush prize the first time you clear it, and clearing stage 24 wins the giant bear and shows the ending.

What guns are there?

Six: cork gun, long rifle, twin gun, triple burst, shotgun and ball cannon. Buy them in the shop with coins from knocked targets, and buy AMMO +1 up to five times.

What targets are there?

Can pyramids, glass bottles, wooden ducks moving along a rail, steel poppers that fall back, balloons, wooden pins and firework boxes. A firework box explodes and throws the targets around it.

Can I start over?

Press NEW GAME on the title screen to erase your stages, coins and prizes and start again from STAGE 1.
