S.A.A.B.
S.A.A.B. stands for Semi-Autonomous Animalistic Being. It is a free 3D first-person shooter that runs in your browser with nothing to install. New Manhattan, 2300: the people are gone and only the machines remain.
Emptying the city is not the end. Clearing all ten stages does not finish the game. Once every enemy is down, you have to search the city and find Annie.
There are four kinds of enemy: drones that follow you overhead, humanoid robots that walk in and open fire, the six-wheeled Cybertitan with a turret on its roof that rams you, and the SKYHOUND circling the sky on stage 10.
There are four weapons too. A new gun arrives only on the stages where a new enemy type appears — you start with the PULSE PISTOL, get the Scatter Laser when the robots come, the ION BLASTER when the Titans come, and the RPG when the SKYHOUND shows up. The first three fire blue beams; the RPG fires a rocket that explodes.
Potions are the only way to heal. Potions sit in six shelters and eight buildings; you can carry up to three, and when you are hurt you have to go and get them yourself.
If you die, you can retry from the stage you died on. If aiming is hard, pick EASY to turn on auto-aim.

Do I need to install S.A.A.B.?
No. Open the link in your browser and it starts. No app, no sign-up. It is a 3D game, so a browser with WebGL is needed; Chrome on a PC is recommended.
Is S.A.A.B. free?
Yes, completely free. No payments.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes, in landscape only. On a phone you get a virtual stick to move, you drag the screen to look around, and buttons for FIRE, JUMP, CROUCH, COVER, GUN and POTION. Aiming is easier on a PC with a mouse.
What are the controls?
On a PC: WASD to move, mouse to aim, left click to fire, SHIFT to sprint, SPACE to jump, X to crouch, E to take cover against a wall, Q or number keys to switch weapon, R to drink a potion, mouse wheel to zoom, P to pause. Click the screen once to lock the mouse for aiming. Choose EASY at the start for auto-aim.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. The stage you reached and your best time, stage, kills and combo are saved in your browser, so you can continue from the stage you died on. Open it again on the same device and browser. Nothing is sent to a server.
