300 A MONTH is a free simulation and story game about living on a basic income of 3 million won a month, paid for by letting an AI learn from your private life. It runs in your browser with nothing to install.
Your goal: save 30 million won for a pistol.
Buy the pistol and shoot every CCTV camera — that's the ending.
There is a CCTV camera in every room of the apartment: hallway, living room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom. Leave one on and the AI pays you 600,000 won a month to learn from your life. Five cameras make 3 million won — the "300" in the title. Rent, food and bills also come to exactly 3 million a month, so if you just sit there, you save nothing. Switch a camera off and you fall behind.
To get ahead you have to sell scenes the AI hasn't seen yet. Let the noodles boil over, fall off a chair, slip on the soap in the shower, sneak to the fridge after 10 pm. If a camera catches it, you get paid on the spot. Do the same thing again and the AI already knows it, so the price halves, then halves again. Leave it alone for a while and it slowly recovers.
Step out the front door and you are in the alley: a playground, a bus stop, grandma's house, a street food tent, a convenience store, a beach and, at the very end, a gun shop. Different people are out each time you leave. Film them with your camcorder and the AI pays by freshness. A bikini selfie is everywhere online, so it scores 7%. An 80-year-old doing morning exercises in swim trunks — nobody films that — scores 96%. You can record grandma's old stories, or have a drink at the tent and hug a lamppost while you confess your heart to it.
The world is black and white; only screens — TVs, monitors, billboards — are in color. A day runs from 8 am to midnight, and every 30 days you get a statement. You have 12 months. All music and sound effects are generated in code.

Yes. Turn your phone sideways. Walk with the pad on the left (push it all the way to run) and use things with the E button on the right. Outside, the REC button above your head starts recording; press it again to send the footage.
How do I play?
On PC: arrow keys to move, Shift to run, E to act, M for sound. Outside, E (or R) starts the camcorder, and pressing it again sells what you filmed.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, automatically, in your browser. Open the game again on the same device and browser and press CONTINUE. Nothing is sent to a server.
How does it end?
Your goal is to save 30 million won for a pistol. Buy the pistol and shoot every CCTV camera, and that is the ending. If you cannot save it within 12 months, the game ends a different way.
What is the AI freshness score?
It is how new a scene is to the AI, in percent. Scenes the internet is full of score low; scenes nobody films score high. Each percent is worth 2,500 won, and selling the same scene again pays less because the AI has already learned it.
