Lasso Sister is a free 3D game where you pick a wanted poster in a western town, chase the outlaw on horseback, lasso them and haul them to jail. No download, it starts right in your browser.

You play Hella, a bounty hunter. Thirteen wanted posters hang on the board outside the sheriff’s office. Pick one and vultures start circling over the outlaw’s hideout. Ride up and the outlaw spots you and runs. Some run on foot, some ride off on horseback, some shoot back and some throw dynamite.

Hold Space and Hella swings the lasso over her head while a ring on the ground slides out and back. Let go when the ring is on the outlaw and the loop flies up to 30 m and cinches around them. Tough ones keep pulling after they are caught, so you mash to yank them down. Tied outlaws are dragged behind your horse in a line, yelping when they hit a cactus or a rock and dropping loose change from their pockets.

Drag them too far and the rope slips. Haul an outlaw more than 80 m and they wriggle free and run, and Hella has to get off her horse and chase them on foot. The faster you tap Space, the faster she runs, and when she catches up it turns into a fistfight. Hit when they drop their guard and step back when they wind up a punch. Knock them out and they are tied up again for good.

Bring them to the jail door and Hella throws them in one at a time for the bounty. Each catch opens the next poster, one at a time, and last of all is the boss holed up in a fort with three henchmen.

Catch all thirteen and the ending plays, but it does not stop there. The jail wall blows up and all thirteen break out. In part 2 they hide in different places, their bounties are doubled and each one is a little tougher. Catch them all again for the real ending.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when the rope slips?

If you drag a tied outlaw more than 80 m, they get loose and run. Hella has to get off her horse and chase on foot, running faster the faster you tap Space. Catch up and win the fistfight and they are tied again for good. If they get more than 75 m away or 55 seconds pass, they escape.

How many outlaws can I drag at once?

Three. Try to throw with three already tied and you get FULL. Once you drop them at the jail you can drag three again.

What happens if my horse gets shot?

Take three bullets while riding and your horse goes down. Walk to the town stable to buy a new horse for 300 dollars. On foot Hella takes the hits herself, and three means game over. Retry continues from your last save with full health.

Can I pick any wanted poster?

No. Posters open one at a time. Catch the outlaw on the open poster and drop them at the jail to open the next one. The thirteenth is the boss.

Does it end after all 13 outlaws?

No. After the part 1 ending the jail wall blows up and all 13 break out. Catch the 13 again in their new hideouts in part 2 for the real ending. Part 2 bounties are double.
